The same thing happened to me while in India. You’re right, it’s just part of life. Ringworm, parasites, scabies, and lice. All seem less horrifying after you’ve had them. :) Anyway, glad to hear you’re OK, and happy anniversary!!! Praying for you!
P.S. Laura, I just want you to know that I found the experience of having a parasite in India to be only slightly less painful, and much less satisfying, than childbirth. If you can tough this out, you’re good to go.

Not fun. I also picked up a parasite while I was down there – the one time I ate raw vegetables at a restaurant. I never saw a doc til I came back here… and by then it was a tough parasite to handle.

But you’re right – its all locally-grown, pesticide-free! And the parasites are free too!
